CD116 (GM-CSFR) Antibodies

The CD116 antigen, a 75-85 kDa molecule, is the human Granulocyte-Monocyte Colony- Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF) receptor α chain. The CD116 antigen is not expressed by lymphocytes, but strongly by monocytes and granulocytes as well as their precursors. It is also present on endothelial cells, fibroblasts and Langerhans cells. CD116 associates with the common β chain (CDw131) of the IL-3 and IL-5 receptors to form a high affinity receptor for GM-CSF.


Clone: SCO6 Isotype: IgG1 Mouse

The SCO6 antibody recognizes an epitope of the GM-CSF receptor α chain. It is a high affinity antibody which binds to the membrane and to the soluble form of GM-CSFR. It immunoprecipitates the molecule. SCO6 antibody does not work in Western blot assays.
